Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Intermediate Training
This course is required for all person with duties that include the direct responsibility for:
• Placement or field maintenance of work zone devices
• Inspection or operational function of work zone devices
• Drafting or electronic generation of work zone control plans
Topics include:
• Classroom and field demonstration of the MUTCD, Index 600 series design standards
• Workshop exercises selecting and setting up a number of sample work zones
• Flagging operations and providing basic “flagger” training
