Trench Safety Month
June 1 thru June 30
June is designated as Trench Safety Month, an annual campaign led by the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) to raise awareness about the dangers of excavation work and reduce fatalities through training, proper shoring, and safety protocols.
June 15-19, 2026 is Trench Safety Stand Down week! A nationwide initiative to reinforce the importance of working safely in and around trenches and excavations.
